Basic Concepts


Every user that signs up on the GMetri Portal, is assigned an organization by default. You can invite others to join your organization and others can invite you to join theirs. A user can be a part of multiple organizations at once.

Default Organization

On creation of a user account, every user is assigned an organization by default which is called as the default organization of that user.


Projects are AR/VR Experiences created by the users. Users can create projects but projects are owned by the organization under which it was created. Projects can have multiple collaborators.

Team Members

All users that are a part of a particular organization are team members of that organization.


One or more people can work on a project simultaneously. They are called collaborators. Any collaborator can invite more users to become collaborators for a project.

Administrator of an organization

Every user is the admin of their default organization.


Editor is the canvas where you can drag and drop various Elements and make connections to create immersive AR/VR Experiences.


Dashboard is the place that displays all projects of an organization.


Elements are basic building blocks used to create 3D Experiences. (more)

Deployment Access Groups

A Deployment Access Group is a list that can allow access to a deployment via certain authentication mechanisms. (more)
